A small directory of the tools behind this journal. These are the technologies I write about and build with—not a shopping list or a collection of affiliate links.

Languages and everyday building

  • C# and .NET are my main playground, from everyday flow control to exploring recursion and design patterns.
  • Python is useful for scripting, working with APIs, and turning data into something I can inspect.
  • JavaScript joins the mix when the problem calls for it, including the small interactions on this site.

Cloud and code quality

  • Azure is where I explore cloud solutions, including Table Storage for keeping historical metrics.
  • SonarCloud provides the code-quality measurements used in my dashboard project.
  • Streamlit turns those measurements into an interactive Python dashboard.

The SonarCloud dashboard field note shows how those pieces fit together.

This little corner of the web

  • Eleventy builds the journal into static HTML.
  • Markdown keeps the writing close to plain text and easy to maintain.
  • GitHub hosts the source code and the projects behind the notes.
  • Vercel hosts the published site.
  • RSS lets readers follow new notes without an algorithm in the middle.

Beyond the editor

Homelab tinkering, IoT, and automation are ongoing interests. The common thread is learning by building—and documenting the useful bits along the way.

Have a tool or an experiment worth exploring? Say hello.
